The Fractals are everywhere. They are in the art, in the technology, medicine, … They are in the nature. There are in the trees, rivers, galaxies, animals, … But we didn’t know it until a very creative mathematician discover and named them.
KNOW THE FRACTALS INVADE THE FRAMINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL
Fractal Invasion is a project developed by the ESL Math classes in the Framingham High School in Massachusetts. It was created cooperatively by ESL Integrated Math class in period E, Slife Math class in period B and Spanish Math class in period F.
We saw some videos about fractals to learn more about these geometric Images. These are some of the videos that we saw:
One properties of the fractals is the Self-Similarity. A self-similar object is exactly or approximately similar to a part of itself.

thanks to this property we made a huge cooperative Fractal attaching smaller fractals. We made the 36 inch tall Triangle of Sierpinski fractal.
Next images saw how we built a bigger and bigger Triangle of Sierpinski adding more and more fractals.

And here some pictures of our Cooperative Triangle of Sierpinskiand how we made it.

Finally we designed and published this web page to broadcast our project and to spread spread the interesting and practical that are mathematics in the interpretation of the world we inhabit.
